It is time to honor and introduce our STEM Youth Coaches and Rising STEM Youth Coaches.
Bridges to Science STEM Youth Coaches are high school students and program alumni who eagerly seized the opportunity to pay it forward.
Some of our STEM Youth Coaches have been with us since we started our first math outreach, the Katy Math Circle.
Piloted in 2021-2022, our STEM Youth Coach Program supports our youth in acquiring and sharing STEM and professional skills through education, activities, and near-peer learning.
STEM Youth Coaches are valuable members of our teaching team where they serve as mentors and role models to our younger students. Our STEM Youth Coach Program is instrumental in our strategy to expand Bridges to Science’s ability to reach more students. STEM Youth Coaches are also training our upper middle school Rising 2023-2024 STEM Youth Coaches.
Since early August, our STEM Youth Coaches have been working hard to help us prepare, launch, and facilitate our Coding Club Boot Camp and our 2022-2023 year-long programs.
